Description

In this master class our expert trainer Richard Lee will teach you everything you need to know about how to  successfully grow you own healthy micro greens at home.

Whether you are new to growing food, live in an apartment or unit with limited space, are time poor,  have physical constraints, or just want to try something new, micro greens are an easy and fun way to grow some food at home. You don't get more local than that.

This class will cover:

  • The difference between sprouting and growing microgreens
  • Materials required —  sources, types, costs
  • Seeds — sources, storage, varieties, seasonal choices)
  • Conditions — temperature, light, air circulation, humidity
  • How to sow — density, size
  • Care and maintenance — germination, duration, watering, disease prevention

In this workshop you will be planting some micro greens in small pots to help support the theory you learn and to take home as a beginning for your micro green growing journey.
